A website loading successfully doesn’t mean it will stay reliable throughout a workday. VPNWest combines routes, devices and data in one subscription. Before choosing, compare the details against your actual tasks rather than relying on a single speed test.
Open the work website first, then check file uploads and sustained connections. Keep the device and local network the same, and compare again after switching routes.
Check whether pages load fully, sessions stay connected and slowdowns affect only specific websites.
This window illustrates how to use the service; it is not a live client.
The client handles the connection. You’re still responsible for protecting website passwords and subscription links, and keeping devices updated.
Read the Privacy Policy →Guides are available for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Find the client download and subscription details in the user panel.
Clients are available after login, except on iOS, where access to the client requires an active plan. Keep an eye on plan data across all your devices.
View setup guides →A page that won’t load, a failed account login and an interrupted response each call for different checks. First confirm that regular websites connect, then check the account region and platform status.
Developer tools and browsers may use different network settings, so a browser test alone can’t confirm whether a plugin is working.
Read the ChatGPT connection guide →First check your account entitlements and the platform’s regional requirements, then try playing something you watch regularly. Picture quality, buffering and catalog availability are separate issues.
If video stutters, also check background sync and your local network. If only some titles are unavailable, check the platform’s rules first.
Run your usual workflow on your regular device and network before deciding whether a plan fits.
Submit refund requests through a ticket in the user panel. See the Terms of Service for full details.
Read the refund terms →Use your username and password to access the panel; the subscription loads routes in your client. They serve different purposes, and both should be kept secure.
Create an account → Choose a plan → Get your subscription → Import it into a client → Test the connection
Illustrative workflow; use the user panel for the current steps.
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Once in the panel, review the plan details: compare monthly plans if you use the service often, or consider a data package if you use it less regularly. Account creation and plan activation are separate steps; check data allowances and billing terms before choosing.
Open the client section in the panel and follow the instructions for your device. After activating a plan, get your subscription from the panel and import it into the relevant client. Check that the route list appears. If it doesn’t update after import, check the subscription load status instead of repeatedly creating duplicate configurations.
Choose a route that matches the destination service’s regional requirements, then open the website you need. Test more than the homepage: try logging in, uploading a file or streaming a response, as relevant. If something goes wrong, note the message and route name, then follow the steps in the setup guide.
WESTBOUND ROUTES
VPNWest covers 120+ countries with 210+ routes. Here are some popular regions. We don’t make promises about unspecified cities, route types or streaming results. Sign in to the panel to see the routes currently available. Service availability depends on your actual connection and the destination platform’s rules.
| Country/region | City | Route type | Streaming availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hong Kong | Check the panel | Check the panel | Depends on actual access results |

Region names don’t specify a particular city or fixed route type. Latency and load aren’t shown.
If a website has regional requirements, check its service availability first, then choose a matching exit region. If it doesn’t specify a region, start with one you use regularly. Physical distance is only one factor; the actual route, your local network and the destination website’s response also matter. Don’t assume a closer region will always be faster.
For work or AI tasks that require sustained login, keep a regular route and an alternative. If switching exit regions triggers extra verification, follow the website’s instructions and avoid repeatedly trying different regions in a short time.
Before switching routes, pause large background transfers and confirm your local network is working. Keep the device and test task consistent, then compare browsing, uploads and sustained connections separately. If only one website fails, check its status and your account permissions instead of assuming every route is affected.
When contacting support, include your device platform, the client message, route name and what you were doing. Never share your full subscription link or account password publicly.
Status figures are for route selection only; they don’t guarantee access to any particular app. Always test on your own network.
PLAN NOTES
Monthly plans include a set data allowance that resets on your activation date each month. Choose based on how often you use the service and what you do: text-based research and continuous video streaming can use very different amounts of data. Factor in background syncing across multiple devices too. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data; check your usage in the panel before changing plans.
¥9.9/month
A starting point for users assessing their usage with web research, email and light AI chats. If you’re unsure how much you use, track the data consumed by your usual tasks.
¥18/month
Worth comparing if you regularly work across borders, transfer files or use multiple devices. Whether it fits depends on file sizes, streaming frequency and background tasks.
¥28/month
Consider for data-heavy use, such as streaming video and transferring files. A larger allowance means more data to use; it doesn’t guarantee faster access or eligibility for any particular platform.
Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Use the data whenever you need it; it never expires. The difference from a monthly plan is how data is used—not a faster or slower speed tier. Consider a package for business trips, occasional research or less frequent use, based on your actual usage.
Upgrades partway through a monthly plan convert the price difference into remaining days. Check the exact result in the panel before changing plans, and distinguish your remaining data from billing arrangements. Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. See the plans page for full options and terms.

Review these details before setup. Account creation, plan data, client connections and destination platform permissions are separate; checking each step is usually more effective than reinstalling repeatedly.
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can keep track of and set a unique password. Access your account in the user panel, where you can also get the client and subscription. Never enter your account password into an import tool from an unknown source.
Unlimited devices refers to the number of devices; data is still subject to your chosen plan. Monthly plans include 60GB, 250GB or 500GB, resetting monthly on the activation date. Data packages are available until used and never expire. More devices can mean more data use from video, file syncing and background updates, so check your balance in the panel regularly.
A connection alone can’t guarantee access. AI tools are also subject to the destination platform’s regional availability, account eligibility and service status. Browsers, command-line tools and IDE plugins may use different network settings. If a website works but a plugin doesn’t, check the plugin’s environment. If login points to a region or account issue, follow the platform’s rules.
Compare monthly plans if you use the service regularly and prefer a monthly allowance. Consider a data package if you use it less often and want to save the data for later; packages never expire. Compare frequency of use and data per task, not just the amount you pay. Upgrades partway through a monthly plan convert the price difference into remaining days; check the exact result in the panel.
VPNWest offers a 7-day refund policy. See the Terms of Service for full eligibility details. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and request. During your evaluation, test your usual websites, devices and network. If you run into setup issues, include the error message to help identify the problem, but never share your password or full subscription link publicly.
FIELD NOTES
Keep reading for help with device setup and real-world use cases. Guides walk you through tasks; scenario-based articles help you assess what you need. For platform availability, check the destination service’s current rules as well.
Follow the steps to install a client, import your subscription, choose a route, test the connection and enable startup on boot. For your first setup, confirm each step works before moving on to avoid layering settings that are harder to troubleshoot.
